MoonDock, a lightweight application designed for displaying up-to-date images of the Moon phase in your system MacOS X Dock or as a floating Moon image on your desktop. MoonDock also enables you to examine phase information for specific dates and times between 2001 and 2015. If you are an amateur astronomer, learning about the night sky or would just like to have the Moon on your desktop this is for you.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. This should be donationware, not freeware. The artist who created MoonDock should be rewarded. MoonDock hasn't been updated in almost a year - because it's already a perfect little app. Don't change a thing. New users: Don't forger to add the beautiful lunar transparency to you desk top as well. I enjoy floating the moon above other extraterrestrial images on my desktop. One of my favorites.
