Present molecular weight calculation from molecular formula.

This is a small program for the calculation of molecular weight from the molecular formula. The features included in this software are: molecular weight calculation from molecular formula and elemental composition calculation; calculate weight (gram) to mmol and vice versa conversion; calculate reagent weight for the entire reaction. IUPAC recommended (1999) Standard atomic weights are used. For radioactive elements atomic mass of long-lived isotope is used. First 103 elements are included. Standard formula notations are accepted. C6H6O is legal while c6h6o is not recognized now. Brackets are supported. CuSO4(H2O)5 is equal to CuSO9H10.

Ease up chemist and researchers in daily calculations

Pros
Molecular weight for molecular formula can be calculated with ease. Other options available for the calculation of concentration, dilution, and reaction are unique and interesting.
Cons
There is no option for defining fragments and using them in molecular weight calculations. Also fractional atom counts are not supported.
Summary
By an large the product will be useful for researchers and chemists in their daily practices. As the product is free, one cannot expect more fancy options. But the software will gain more attraction if it contains mass spectral pattern simulation and support fragment definitions.
