  Pros

  Portable - which is great for students working in a lab.

  Cons

  Difficult to fully load and use on a stick. May require other software to be installed on your stick in order to run.

  Summary

  At this time I would only recommend this for the most hard core of La Tex users. There are other alternative La Tex editors out there which are also free that may be easier to install and run although they lack that portability element.
