Do you have hundreds of midifiles and find it annoying that, when playing the files, the volume level is very different for every file? MidiDesign MIDI Normalizer is a batch tool, able to set the maximum volume level found in a midifile to a predefined value. All other volume settings will be adjusted to maintain the original mix of the file. It can also compress your files, change the mix according to your settings, mute midi channels, create tracksheets, and create lyric files. And it is able to perform this operations on a whole batch of files.
Hi Ponslet,

If you lack the knowledge of reviewing software, please don't. Or maybe you're confusing with some other software ?

Anyway, there's not even the possibility to buy the software (it's free, yeaah !) which obviously results in all functions being available (no misleading tricks here), there aren't even separate modules to make the software work (who needs that garbage), support is available via E-MAIL (throw down the phone, Ponslet ?), and there's no dependency of IExplorer (why would it. I've heard it may cause software to malfunction, although I experienced it only once ever).

You're mumbling about address data, but I don't have a clue what you mean. The software doesn't ask for it, and doesn't need it. Anyone can use the software whithout providing any personal data, and without registering. But thanks anyway, your remark gives me the opportunity to highlight this again !

Enjoy the free ride ;-)

Pros
It's easy to use, and works well (I tested it on thousands of files, and I got no errors). The scan mode shows exactly what the software will change in your files, and your originals are left untouched.

Nice detail: you can extract the songlyrics from midifiles that contain lyrics.
Cons
None so far.
