• splendid utility for home musicians with complex setup

  Pros

  - it is totally free - i can use it to connect and sync all of my midi setup - it can be controlled from midi and keys, for live performances - very advanced midi control mapping possible

  Cons

  Version 1.05 does not support tap tempo. However there is a newer version 2.01 on the site www.midiclock.com which does support the tap tempo (it should come to cnet too!!). This one is truly excellent

  Summary

  I really like it because it adds much flexibility to my midi setup. I can really play with the tempo of my performances, which before where limited to predefined bpm rates.
