In addition, the service pack includes roll-ups of all reported customer issues found after the release of the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1. Of particular note, SP1 provides better support for consuming WSDL documents, Data Execution prevention and protection from security issues such as buffer overruns.

SP1 also provides support for Windows XP Service Pack 2 to provide a safer, more reliable experience for customers using Windows XP. SP1 is available in 22 languages. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Summary
Old computer, older driver bHind kb. WARNING: i dislike M$not with almost a passion! Their ability/agility to shift servers is nearly as good as ability to put out pricey, bug laden, bloated very thinly veiled crapware.

Works just fine.I don't know why anyone had any issue.Maybe they're browser canceled the download before it could start ? Ive been having that issue with Mozilla v .3.16.3 and I wish they would fix this soon.Anyways just go to the download section under tools so you can see the download then hit retry.Worked for me .You also want to make sure your security settings aren't blocking downloading the file and to allow it to when you see the warning message.

WHEN SHUTTING DOWN, IT WILL DELAY SHUT DOWN UNTILL IT INSTALLS, WHICH IT NEVER DOES. A WASTE OF MY TIME TO MEES WITH. BUT I CAN'T GET RID OF IT. KEEPS TRYING. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S ANY GOOD ORNOT. SO FAR IT'S JUNK.
