IntelliType Pro software enables the unique features of your Microsoft keyboard and lets you customize it to fit your needs. For example, you can: Reassign many of the keys to open a program, file or Web page-or to perform a command (such as Find or Show Desktop). Doesn't work with special keys

Summary
This software doesn't allow you to use the special keys under Mac OS X. All the keys you pay extra for are useless. The only ones you can use are the ones that exist on a standard Apple keyboard, like volume up/down and the power button from old iMac keyboards, and you don't need this software for that. It does allow you to remap F1-F15, but to access them, you have to hit "F lock" every time you start the computer.
