ECMerge compares and merges files and folders, side-by-side. ECMerge works with local files as well as SCC repositories, FTP/S and SFTP servers. It provides syntax coloring for C/C++, Java, HTML, ASP, and PHP. It let you compare easily your MS Word DOCX, RTF and OpenOffice Writer files, your source code and even your images. It compares files of arbirary formats as bytes by bytes (binary comparison). ECMerge saves automatically sessions and let you save your own named sessions to launch them again in one click or with the command line. It generates reports in Unix patch, XML and HTML format for Text, Images, and Folder Comparisons.
