Used Memory Waves Image Optimizer for Windows?
Editors’ Review
While it's certainly easy to use, this freeware photo tool lacks some expected options. Memory Waves Image Optimizer's wizard interface takes the guesswork out of using the program, and it will appeal to novice users. The program takes two paths; one to resize photos and one for all other alterations. Most functions instantly alter the photos, but they're easy to undo.
You can easily select images by browsing through the standard tree directory, but you can't choose subfolders. Resizing images follows a few simple steps, but the options are limited and narrow in scope. You must select a single pixel size for all photos in the batch. The program will not maintain aspect ratios, resize photos by percentage factors, or size against only a single axis. You can easily alter images with crop, rotation, zoom, color correction, and red-eye function. Each command operates on a single image, and you must step through all commands using the wizard. In addition to the image alteration tools, the program includes a step to send resized images to the publisher's photo-storage site.
Experienced user will quickly chaff at Memory Waves Image Optimizer's lockstep approach. However, novice users needing to make simple changes to a small number of images will find this freeware app very easy to learn and operate.
