  Pros

  I signed up for the Early Access Program (the basic version 2.3.13 is stable and good) but I loved the support from the devs. They are very responsive and open to new ideas. The software is top notch, the newer builds 2.4.1 are super fast especially with the hardware encoding features. I use them to sync with my iTunes and it works seamlessly in the background. Rarely do I even know it's running so smoothly. The documentaiton and getting started guide is pretty good too

  Pros

  converted a file in just 20 minutes (down from 1.5 hours) highly customizable renaming works even better now the auto quality selection works great creating wtv files now works

  can't really think of any, with each release this software just gotten better and easier to use

  Pros

  I'm actually using 2.3.14, this website is slightly dated. It is a one stop shop for converting video and removing commercials. Very easy to use, excellent support from the forum and reasonably accurate. The flexbility is nice to have with a great number of features to use for advanced users. I personally liked it since I don't have to mess with any advanced features and it's very simple to setup and the best software I've seen there to this kind of work.

  Cons

  if I have to knit pick I will ask for support for out of the box hardware encoding which I believe 2.3.14 has but one has to enable it manually.

  Pros

  - Super fast - My mother could use it easy - Very customizable (still finding new ways to work it) - Awesome support From what I see with hardware encoding support in 2.3.14, there's no reason for me to look anywhere else.

  The authors don't charge enough - can't think of any con's really.

  Pros

  It does all of what WTV watcher and Life Extender does but with a LOT more ease and flexiblity and MUCH MUCH faster. The dev's are very responsive and great folks to work with. Constantly improving and enhancing it. I can't believe it's free. The latest version is 2.3.13, this website it out of date.

  Pros

  I decided to use this software after trying many other commercial removal softwares. In short I'm so impressed with it's flexibility and capability there's no going back for me. I used 2.2.13 PRO's: 1. Dead on accurate commercial removal 2. REALLY easy to use, it look me all of 5 minutes to get started after using the Guide 3. Very flexible - I can create custom conversions for each show, create a directory structure/filename for each one as I choose 4. Great add on features - resizing, increasing the volume, quality, extracting subtitles 5. Good options for conversion - a wide array to target profiles available, MP4, AVI, MKV, Mobile etc. I personally used MKV and iPhone (I had each recording converted twice - again REAL easy, I set up 2 tasks) 6. multiple locations - I love this since I use a network storage and record shows from MCE. It can automatically convert from and to multiple locations 7. Great support - i had a question about conversions, I got an answer back in a few hours

  Cons

  1. Some conversions take a very long time but I found out from the support website that it can be configured. One user put a table comparing the conversion profiles, time taken and size of the conversion. 2. It does not convert copy protected files (some of my HD recording are pedning).

  Summary

  All in all, I'm super satisfied with this software. I'm not sure why I didn't check this out earlier (probably because it was in BETA for a very long time) but what I love is that this program has pushed the bar really high for other software.
