MathTappers: Find Sums - addition & subtraction for iOS

MathTappers: Find Sums is an educational app aimed at helping learners grasp the concepts of addition and subtraction. It features two distinct modes tailored for different age groups: a visual counting game for younger children and a symbolic part-part-whole model for older learners. This structure encourages users to select pairs of numbers that correspond to a given total, promoting both accuracy and speed in basic math skills. The app serves as a self-paced tool that supplements traditional instruction, allowing learners to build fluency in essential arithmetic operations.

Designed with both children and educators in mind, MathTappers: Find Sums emphasizes understanding over rote memorization, utilizing engaging models to enhance comprehension. Parents are encouraged to participate by discussing strategies with their children, fostering a collaborative learning environment. The app is available for free, with optional features offered at a minimal cost, contributing to ongoing research and development in educational technology.
