Create newsletter templates for your e-mail campaigns.

MailStyler allows to create amazing and 100% compatible newsletter templates with a simple series of drag and drops. A typical question when it comes to email marketing is in fact what template one should adopt to improve his campaign, and how to design it. The common solutions are to rely on ready-made layouts found on the web, or to use the internal editor of your email sending platform. Neither of them is ideal: the first cannot provide a really tailor made template, while all cloud based applications and "normal" email editors have annoying limits in terms of flexibility and usability. Moreover, in both cases you will need to test the resulting layout on different clients to make it sure that it renders correctly. Enter MailStyler, and everything changes. All you need is to choose among a vast range of pre-designed elements (text boxes, columns, footers, headers), and drag&drop them on our WYSIWYG editor, where to modify them freely. No need of HTML knowledge is required: only a few moves of the mouse and your creativity. The final template will be thus perfectly coded and compatible with all clients and webmails, as well as usable on all the most popular clients or platforms (MailChimp, VerticalResponse, SendBlaster)

Solid piece of software.

Pros
Very powerful yet simple to use, works well and exports flawlessly.
Cons
As already noted, there's only a finite number of template you can realize with the pre-made blocks.
Summary
Solid piece of software, although a long path for future updates & new features, but nevertheless off to a good start. What struck me most is the exporting feature: the template is truly rendered perfectly no matter the email client or the device. Really great.

Pros
Smooth, mostly reliably function, easy to understand and good supporting documentation. It is very easy to create a simple newsletter template. No coding expertise is required.
Cons
Layout styling and creativity is pretty much restricted to just rearranging the predefined elements one on top of the other and the elements offered are by no means "vast" as described by the publisher.
Summary
If you already have a corporate style and layout or a particular design in mind, it is very unlikely that this software will allow you to reproduce what is required any more effectively than what is already offered by the array of newsletter templates that are available online. Although it is early in the software's post release development phase, the present lack of real design flexibility is sure to disappoint many business operators. It may however find a place for private personal use or for clubs or small non profits etc but in such circumstances, the software will be much overpriced and a stock pre-made template might well be found that produces a similar result. The software has great potential, but if you are expecting the design flexibility offered by typical WYSIWYG html editors, it will fail to impress.

Pros
- Very easy to use - There's a huuuge number of editing tools - Great image library - You can swap cells in two clicks - All generated newsletters REALLY look great on all clients (yes, I've tested them - I don't want to be fooled!); and this is a great plus - Import/export on email clients and platforms is very simple, and gives no HTML or rendering issue at all
Cons
The price difference between the two versions is a bit high. Anyways, I suggest to go Pro immediately - you get also a free cloud space and forget once for all any FTP uploading hassle.
Summary
I discovered recently it while using SendBlaster (via an advertisement) and tried it. It's a fantastic software to create compatible and tailor-mde newsletter. Never seen anything like that.
