Retrieve information from the archives of most popular mail programs.
MailNavigator is a combination of two advanced tools for fast handling of e-mails and news messages: Navigator - is a very convenient mail and news browser, featuring some unique capabilities. Filter - is a powerful information retrieval tool for the mailbox folders of the majority of popular mail programs: MS Mail, MS News, MS Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger, Eudora, Forte Agent, Pegasus Mail, The Bat, Eserv, and also for all the popular bases of the Fidonet information network. The processing language of the filters includes the standard operators: OR, AND, NOT, NEAR, their synonyms, and parentheses for defining the order of operators.
It did actually open a dbx successfully. A bunch of code and the actual message did appear. Good for emergency message retrieval.
Cons
Program kept trying to access my address book. Annoying! Denying it access aborted the retrieval process. Wouldn't recomend it, if you you were looking for something to look at all those Outlook Express files that you have. (When you can't veiw them in regular Outlook 2007)
Summary
Do not use for Outlook Express email recovery

Pros
It extracts the basic text of Outlook Express emails.
Cons
I have lost all emails in one of my folders in Outlook Express. Because that folder had reached 2GB. Outlook Express can't read emails in a folder which is larger than 2GB.

<p>I have tried Mail Navigator to recover my missing emails. It shows the emails in the program but when I extract them to restore, the program messes all attachments and the formats. It extracts only the basic text. The attachments don't work and the HTML format messes.
<p>
<p>Do not use this program for Outlook Express email recovery. I've tried another program: OE-Mail Recovery and It worked great. I've restored all my emails back and the attachments.

Pros
This product scans through your old emails, deleted ones as well and gives you full information on what emails are there or thought you'd lost.
Cons
dont add the date from a year apart because it will stay stuck, add months at a time prefferably 6 months at a time.
