The nearly infinite flexibility of digital audio has transformed the way many people experience music. This program provides a music listener with the basic tools to extract music from a CD, burn audio and data discs, copy CDs, and convert files between MP3, OGG, WMA, and other formats. The CD-ripping function works well, instantly retrieving disc information from the Net and outputting tracks quickly. However, the software does not allow a user to change audio settings such as bit rate when ripping discs, a critical flaw when other free software such as iTunes provides so much more flexibility. Although a useful and versatile set of tools, this flaw and strict restrictions on the use of the shareware version make Madz CD Duplicator much less attractive than other programs on the market.

Pros
First, for the registration you're asked whether you are 13 or not. If you select that you are over the age then the registration fails. The only other option ends in error as well though U seemingly bypass the registration . DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
Cons
Please, if anyone installed this on Win XP SP 3 or Win 7 successfully, kindly, share what it is that you did or did not do. And as for all those wonderful testmonials, well, that goes without say.
Summary
It is quite unfortunate that a product that seemingly has the potential of gaining market share is so poorly designed. I presume this was not made in China thus it is that much more disappointing. Sorry, but facts are the facts. The software does not install.

Beware of using MADZ software. If the license is anything like the DVD to IPOD convertor software I bought you can never reinstall after reimaging you HD unless you pay them for a new license!!! It is one time use. So don't crash your HD!!
Summary
The license from MADZ software is a one time use if you ever loose your HD for any reason at all. You must pay them a $5 license fee to get a code that matches the code that you reimaged system spits out. What a rip off!! I did nothing to change the hardware and even MS would agree that this is the same system. But MADZ charges you to install the same software you just purchased!! I would look around for a more ligit company that is willing to sell you software and not try to rip you off. I reimage my PC often to keep it running fast and whenever I feel like cleaning out all of the old garbage. When you try to reinstall the MADZ software it generates a new code that does not match your old code. So now you are forced to pay MADZ to reinstall you own software that you have already paid for. Unbelievable!!! They deny that this is unethical and even go as far as saying that Microsoft uses the same policy. Hmmm. I have MS software and it installs just fine when I reimage my PC. I would not buy from a company so worried about their license and not able to provide good customer support. RATING= 1 since there is no ZERO.

Absolutely nothing. It doesn't work.
Cons
When I attempt to install the program, it comes to a registration screen with three fields required. I fill them in and press the submit button...only to have the program tell me that it failed in submission due to corrupted data. What a joke.

The graphics and outlook of the cd duplicator are pretty nice and catchy.SO many features with in a single interface.The player and the duplicator together give the program a handy touch.Pretty easy to use and manage even for a newbie.I must advice to go for it. <p>USP for this product is there emai support that is freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee <p>A necesaary software in the system for the users who are bore with normal player.

I was looking around for a low cost alternative to Windows Media Player--one that would also allow me to do format conversions. I have tried a variety of different shareware converters, rippers, burners, players, etc., none of which met all of my requirements. Lately, I had been using several different programs to do different things. Then I came across MadZ CD Duplicator here on download.com, so I thought I would give it a try. Not only did this one program meet all of my needs, but it far exceeded my expectations. First, it has a very smartly designed and organized interface. I can tell that some real thought went into the layout. The tools and other features are tightly integrated and make it very easy to use. Also, it is very quick. I can do bulk conversions in the time it took me to do one with other programs. Finally, there are a lot features in this software that are not even mentioned in the description on download.com. In fact, this is one of the most sophisticated programs I have ever found on download.com. So I did not hesitate for a second in buying it and now I use it practically every day. The ability to personalize the player by changing the background photo is an especially nice touch. I keep a picture of my children in it. I strongly recommend this as one of those MUST HAVE programs.

I liked the interface. Simple. Necessary options are right there.
Cons
I couldn't even burn one cd because of the bugs. But even with those fixed, I didn't like that it copied the whole cd before starting to duplicate, even with two separate cd drives.
