• JUST what I was looking for!

  Pros

  Was exactly what I was looking for. Very flexible. Exhaustive in fact. Easy to begin, but endless tweaks available. It's really it's own thing, but it has a lot of what I love about Fruity loops but with piano roll editors that play out more like the multichannels that I'm used to. Not nearly as buggy as drumsite with placements, pretty intuitive, Really nice gui interface.

  Cons

  You need to REALLY keep track of your changes! There's so much that you can do. I'm using it mostly for basic idea creation and "story board" for work in the studio. I'll write another review when I get deeper into the rabbit hole.

  Summary

  This was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I knew it had to exist, and this really exceeds my expectations. So far as I can see, it really is free so far with all the things I wanted to accomplish so far. I'll write a more useful review in the future, but I really had to get this up now, because it's too good of a program to be languishing about without a review yet! -Jonquil
