Included are 10 computer AIs, ranging from easy to deadly. If you are a developer take a look at the LuxAgent SDK for details on how to write your own, with examples provided. If you're more the graphics type, you can create your own board theme. Three come built in to Lux. Lux records the wins and losses of both human and computer players, so you can see exactly how you stack up.
