Lookup is software program that searches Chinese or English words and phrases in the user dictionary, public dictionary, and Translation Memory database maintained by the user. Lookup speeds up CE or EC translation, helps maintaining consistency across translations, and is a great tool for simply learning English or Chinese. Lookup requires little or no learning and is easy and intuitive to use. Lookup searches keyed text or text copied to the clipboard for matches in the user and public dictionaries and the TM database. Lookup can determine the language of the text automatically and has smart and distinct logic for Chinese and English searches. It has many user-configurable control options. Search results include English, Chinese and Pinyin for easy pasting back to your translation work.
