True, in the beginning the software may have been a bit buggy but since those flaws were taken out of the program it works great! The developer is very active in getting and using feedback in LogTen and the support is just awesome!
If you already have an electronic logbook (from excel sheet to anything you can export to comma-seperated text) you can very easily import it into LogTen.
LogTen is the best logbook program I've seen so far, that's including applications for PC. The price may seem a bit steep but everyone who knows what it's like to maintain a paper logbook knows that it's so much better if you don't have to worry about a cramped hand after 3 months of NOT writing your flights down and making tons and tons of mistakes in calculating your times...
With LogTen Mobile 2.0 for the iPhone coming up things just keep getting better :-)

Note that the first 40 hours of log entry is free so you can try it out... Be aware that if you enter a flight time, then enter a flight start and end times for the flight it will replace the flight time with one calculated from the actual times entered, makes since, but you need to enter either one method or the other.
I like the customization options for the reports. As a student pilot I have been able to create a custom form that address all the areas needed for the PTS.

I tried to keep my logbook in a spreadsheet, but LogTen makes it much easier. Flight entry is much faster than doing it manually. I especially like the "smart" reports in the pro version, helpful for keeping track of my flights in different types of aircract.
The best thing about logten, though is that the developer is so responsive. A constant stream of updates and additions based on user feedback. Very cool.
