Used Live HTTP Headers for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Web surfers interested in what's going on behind the scenes will appreciate this free Firefox add-on. Live HTTP Headers is easily accessed through the Firefox Tools menu. It opens a new tab split into four tabs: Headers, Generator, Config, and About. There's a bare-bones help file for the Generator tool, but the rest of the program is self-explanatory.
Host, server, and cookie information is neatly displayed in the first tab. Some testers reported no information was displayed in the Header tab until they moved to another tab and then returned to Header. Once it's running, it automatically updates if you move to a new page. The Generator tool shows redirects, images, and CSS on a page. It's easy to check and uncheck options to view. Uncovered information is easily saved in text files.
Live HTTP Headers easily reveals useful data most surfers never see. It's simple, effective, and free. We recommend it for any user level.
