- I'm completing the 1st term of a doctoral program at Grand Canyon University. After reviewing no less than eight and as many as ten project management applications, LiquidPlanner had the best balance between the scope and ease of use. As my needs grow in the area of research, this application is keeping pace and has been invaluable to staying on task, budgeting time and meeting all goals and objectives. Thank you, Liquid Planner!
A brilliant new concept for project-management

- LP has many cool things, but personally, I have really liked the following features: 1. Projects risk planning and management is done in a brilliant and unique way. 2. Progress updating is REALLY easy to update. 3. Amazing reporting capabilities!

- Project management concept is different than the conventional gantt. There few videos that explains it, but it does requires couple of hours to get used to.

- I have personally tested around every project management solution there is. Nothing gets even close to what the guys in LP have accomplished. LP provides a non-conventional way of project management, the idea is to deal with risk management as well as time planning. This makes it an ideal platform for us at Alcon Systems Ltd. as risk management plays a key role in project planning and management. The web interface is brilliant and really easy to controls, things like: on-going task assignment, working hours reports, vacations and status reporting is done purely using LP. Today, our entire development uses LP and I can safely say, that the overhead of project planning using LP is almost nothing. Another nice feature that I really like as a project manager is fact that LP's time schedule automatically adjusts according reported statuses. This allows the project manager to get a TRULY realistic competition date, without spending half a day "fixing" the broken gantt. I can't understand how LP development team came up with their concept. It is however, how project management should have looked in the first place! In fact, I would really recommend for any project manager to just watch their videos. Bottom-line: It is one of those things you can't understand how you managed without it.
