LinkRoller is written in PHP. In order to operate, it requires a web hosting platform running a web server. A MySQL database is also required to store the link lists. The interface consists of an administrative area where lists can be created, and a separate script that can be queried with a web page request to pull short lists of links. These web requests generally appear within the pages of a blog, like WordPress.
