In type 2 diabetes it's not easy to determine the ideal time to start an insulin treatment.
Insulin is now thought of as an effective therapy for achieving and maintaining the therapeutic goals, preserving, if possible, residual pancreatic cell function. This type of drug is used for the prevention and treatment of insulin in type 2 diabetes.
