Lens Distortion Corrector is a filter produces texture map correction for spherical texture mapping. When digitizing images from any camera source, lens distortion (barrel / pincushion) becomes an unavoidable factor. By applying distortion correcting algorithms to the image, the amount of distortion can be minimized and sometimes corrected. Features include control the amount of distortion correction introduced in both the horizontal and vertical axes respectively, lock the vertical slider to the horizontal for proportional distortion correction, with pincushion distortion pixels that are grabbed from outside the image boundaries are colored using the selected color, define the type of camera lens has been used and presets the appropriate distortion correction, allow user input while all other settings lock sliders to preset values, specify the out-of-range color, image can be scaled to compensate for distortion corrected size differences, and apply all effects (in realtime) on 'mouse drag' instead of on 'mouse release'.
