Take Tomb Raider and mix in a bit of sorcery, and you get Legacy of Kain. The 3D adventure game provides a solid mix of arcade action and brain-tickling puzzles, though finding the good stuff requires an excessive amount of exploring. The battle sequences are especially entertaining once you've acquired a few special powers. Although the game certainly isn't the most graphically complex, the art direction and color schemes of the "spiritual realms" are definitely unique. Lara Croft fans might find the puzzle sections a bit easy, but Kain's unique look makes it a solid 3D adventure game.

I played this game for the first time like 2-3 years ago... it was Soul Reaver part one I think... I was very impressed on how they mixed plain game movements into spontaenous cinematic effects... really cool game... One thing good also is that you don't need an extremly powerful CPU to play this game... some 300++ MHZ would perfectly do well. An 8MB AGP video card or 16 MB PCI... suites this game well too. Lots of puzzles in the game... not only is there intense action, the story plot is very interesting as well, the puzzles will also eat your brains out!!! try this... certified to be a game that ROCKS!!!
