Take Tomb Raider and mix in a bit of sorcery, and you get Legacy of Kain. The 3D adventure game provides a solid mix of arcade action and brain-tickling puzzles, though finding the good stuff requires an excessive amount of exploring. The battle sequences are especially entertaining once you've acquired a few special powers. Although the game certainly isn't the most graphically complex, the art direction and color schemes of the "spiritual realms" are definitely unique. Lara Croft fans might find the puzzle sections a bit easy, but Kain's unique look makes it a solid 3D adventure game.
