Pros

Straightforward interface: This app presents all program features clearly on a single interface page. There are four buttons across the middle of the screen that provide access to the various types of scans and other procedures available, and scan results are presented in a clear, easy-to-read list.

Multiple functions: The program utilizes a few different tools to help you keep your library organized. There is a main cleaning tool, as well as an option to scan your music files for those missing information like album artwork, title, track, and other details. The program retrieves these missing details and syncs it with the songs in your library so everything appears uniform. Other options include identifying and removing duplicates and loading saved results.

Cons

Long initial scan: The initial cleanup scan can take quite a while, especially if you have a large library. During testing, there was no visible change in the Progress Bar after more than five minutes, and the program did freeze at one point while we were scanning for duplicates.

Bottom Line

Leawo Tunes Cleaner presents all features in an accessible way, so that users of all experience levels will feel comfortable. It performed decently during testing, and you can try it out for yourself for free. The only limit on the trial version is that you can't actually apply the changes you'd like to make to your iTunes account. To do that, you'll have to purchase a full license for $39.99.
