Layers A different and unique screenshot tool for Mac designers, developers, technical writers, documentalists and Photoshop aficionados. Capture all the windows (including dock bar, status bar, finder icons, etc.) as separated layers in a PSD archive. Also, capture a complete web page directly from major Mac browsers, fast and accurate. Image formats: - PSD with grouped layers, PNG or TIFF - Composite image, bunch of images. - WebShot: full web page captures directly from browser. Interact with the page (i.e. sign-in, etc.) before capturing. Inspector: select which windows you want to save. - Multiple displays: choose each display separately or any combination. - Many more features.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. This application could be useful, though I confess I do the same by hand. I found that when I attempted to do a snapshot of a website from Firefox, all I got was a "failure" notice. This needs some more work, IMHO.

All those hours I've spent setting up my system to take screenshots for products... now I don't have to do that anymore. Just take a picture and remove what you don't want people to see. Absolutely wonderful. A steal at this price, well worth 3x or more.

I would buy it in a heartbeat if I could only think of a reason I'd need it. If you you have a need for this kind of thing, I think you've now got the perfect solution.
