Very useful utility for all who use math formulas...

- ...in their presentations
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Works great for me, particularly in Keynote or OpenOffice.org. You just type in your formula in LaTeX (BTW one of the best scientific typesetting programs in its own right), and get the typeset formula in PDF format, to insert in your presentation. You can scale it to any size, etc.
symbols size in the palette

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
brilliant!

Good product. The price is ok...

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Love the app. Great job.
Occasionally, however, I need to export LaTeX to Illustrator, for example. The problem is, Illustrator converts the fonts automatically to its default. To solve this problem, I'd love to export LaTeX to vector outlines of the fonts used. Any chance this feature might be included some day?

Latex Equation Editor (LEE) in disguise.
ProfAD- Pros
- Cons
- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
1. I am a heavy user of the original, namely Latex Equation Editor. Consequently, I simply do not understand what does it mean "heavily inspired by LEE". it is nothing but LEE in disguise! (Library -> History,...) Thus, I insist on hearing what does LEE developer Alexander McKenzie has to say about it. Hope very nuch it has been approved by him! 2. The preferences of LEE are much reacher. For exapmple, can creat also tiff exports. 3. Unlike LEE, Latexit comes with a Latex palette. For Latex specialists it is superfluous, whereas for Latex beginners it is premature. 4. There is a multi windows option; I am not sure how important it is. 5. Remove several history entries (rather than a single entry) is badly needed. *6. Unlike LEE, the interaction of Latexit is one-way!!! You cannot take a formula back to Latexit, and this is a major drawback. LEE has not been upgraded for a while. Maybe Latexit will give it a good reason for doing so.
