Good software. Horrendous license.

Pros
Good software. Has many features useful to a medium level user.
Cons
License is lost if the computer malfunctions. Even if you have the activation codes, these are useless unless the software is deactivated from the original installation. Even then, transferring licenses between computers is hit and miss. If you have a problem, don't expect Teklynx support to answer your emails. High frequency of product updates with subsequent short period of (alleged) product support.
Summary
Good software. Archaic license control system. Avoid using in a manufacturing environment where you may need to move the software between computers.
No re-installs in event of computer crash

The license model they use is convoluted. You can not re-install if you were not able to deactivate the software before e.g. a hard drive crash.
Summary
In our case, we bought it and installed it as a digital download. We had no idea that the software could not be re-installed on the same computer if you have to replace the hard drive. Once anything hardware related is changed on your computer, that computer is considered a new computer and they say you have 2 computers you are trying to install the software on. That is what happened to us. We have a dell workstation that we had the software installed on. That machine crashed and we thought we would quite simply re-install. We tried to do so after installing a new hard drive and the install failed saying the software was already installed on a different computer. You would then think that a simple phone call to the company along with verification of who you are would be enough for them to deactivate the software for you. No; they require the deactivation to come from the user end which of course in most re-install situations resulting from a crash is impossible. They gave us 2 options,1. buy everything again for full price, 2. buy an unlock usb key for $100. Sounds like ransomware to us. Anyhow you are much better off buying software from a company that allows honest, simple installs and moves of their software. DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE. IT'S TOO RISKY!
Okay program, WORST customer service. Do NOT buy it.

Summary
Absolutely the worst customer service. Their pledge, if you have paid the EXTRA expense for support, is 48-72 hour response. They take every minute of the 72 hours to get back to you. And if you dont have the EXTRA support, they wont even talk to you, no matter how simple a problem or question. Let me emphasize, not one word or a reply back in email, other than to close your ticket. If you own 6 copies like our firm, its a nightmare. Replacing it the first chance I can.
