lindathorn- Pros
- Nice to send emails from PC to my family's cell phones
- Cons
- They lock your account after you use your 50 free messages and then don't reset it the next month. Won't communicate with you unless you are a member with a premium Joopz account
- Summary
- False advertising
works great for US Cellular Service
pbasser2- Pros
- could text and receive text with no problems I loved the fact I had a history of text messages. could also turn on SMS fowarding so message would go to your phone instead.
- Cons
- didn't like the fact that you max out at 50 texts a month but for 20 bucks you get unlimited for the whole year.
- Summary
- works good good service
Was able to text friends from 30,000 ft on GOGO. Cool!
mohanr- Pros
- Actually worked for me. And I was able to text friends & family from 30,000 feet on American Airlines to coordinate late arrival on a Friday night. Perfect for when you have no phone access (like on a plane!).
- Cons
- One of the recipients tesxted back, and I never received it. And it seems the limits would be frustrating.
- Summary
- No nonsense, and good service. Generally works, and saved me in a bind.
umm it doesnt work!!
deevot- Pros
- there are not any pros to this application
- Cons
- unfriendly user interface; 10-recipient limit; none of my recipients recd txt on mult attempts; cust svc never retrnd mssge
- Summary
- Bottom line, this service sucks! The user interface us very unfriendly, the confirmations annoying and the the ten-person limit on group sends is inconvenient for the purpose of "mass distribution" texting. Oh did I mention not a single text that I sent was actually received by the intended recipients?
