Jiggler is a little freeware utility that jiggles your mouse periodically, preventing sleep and screensavers from interrupting the jobs your computer is doing. No more having to change your sleep and screensaver delays back and forth in System Preferences -- just jiggle!
Probably good software but I will never Know!!!!!!!!!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This little app is just what I needed. I'm running some cpu intensive cluster computations in a university lab and the IT dept won't give me admin access. The computers are set to automatically log-out after 1 hour of idle time. My analyses need to run for as much as 40 hours. This little helper keeps me from sleeping in the lab and shaking the mice every hour. And no admin access needed to install. THANKS!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Not to spew F.U.D., but isn't grabbing the cursor supposed to be a no-no? Even if it's undocumented (and I'm not sure about OS X), this is still a great hack. And despite the pooh-pooh-ing and kneejerk smell-o-meterizations, this is the PERFECT app for a tiny but essential function -- sane OS X behavior during long, CPU-intensive WORK.
Very handy during long utility activity or 3D...

...rendering to see progress
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This is a simple little utility which is very handy for me. I use a Cinema Display primary monitor and have the screen set to black out after 15 minutes non-use in order to save the backlights. Fairly often I'll run a utility or 3D program which has a much longer running or rendering time and it is valuable to see the progress without having the screen need light up again. Jiggler provides a simple solution to that issue. The only thing I'd like to see is a smaller CPU % load. It is pretty small but I'd like to see almost none except during an actual jiggle.
Brilliant and Stable

It is one of those little gems that fits a small niche perfectly. Thank you, Ben.
