iWPM is your tool for gauging speed (words per minute) and accuracy. Parents and teachers of young readers will find it easy and convenient to measure performance, without the need to do pesky math.EASY TO USEUse iWPM to time as your child reads from a book or paper with a known number of words. Easily calculates WPM and accuracy for you. Simple!STOPWATCH MODE - Enter the number of words to be read, then click Start. If you want to track accuracy, just click the [+] button each time you hear an error. When reading is complete, click the Stop button. iWPM shows you the accuracy as a percentage, and the reading speed in words per minute.Need to adjust the error count or the elapsed time? No problem, just spin the wheels at the bottom of the screen and the display will update instantly.CALCULATOR MODE - You needn't time a reader interactively to use iWPM. Enter the number of words, then spin the dials at the bottom of the screen to indicate the number of errors, or the amount of time. The accuracy and words per minute will be calculated instantly.SCREEN SHOTS: Spin the dials at the bottom of the screen to set the number of errors and elapsed time. Instantly read calculated accuracy, (1) WPM and (2) WCPM. Press Start to begin timing, click + for each error (3). Press Stop, and the dials are set (4) so you can easily adjust. (5) Settings control click sounds, control reminders, and WPM/WCPM; help is built right in.
