  I was searching for a free FLV converter and found iTake Video Converter. I downloaded it and checked the website to see what the limitations are for it. The "free" trial version is really just that. It is a trial and it was free. Beyond that, it does not give you much to work with for a good, reasonable, test. Unless you purchase it for $39.95, all you get is trial version that will convert anything that you want up to 5 minutes OR up to half the time of the original, whatever comes first. So, let us say that you want to try it, like I did, on a 1:58 minute FLV file to convert to MP4 or AVI. It gave me 59 seconds of the 1:58 minute video. Why? Because 59 seconds is half of the 1:58 minutes. At least I was able to see a quick 59 second test of the sound and video quality (don't blink twice) before deleting this worthless trial ware and moving on to another program that is more reasonable. By the way, I do purchase a number of shareware or trail ware programs that allow full or near full function of the program, but this is such as short test, it was not worth the bother.
