Send sticky notes to Macs, iPhones, other phones via LAN or Internet.

A tool that combines the usefulness of little desktop notes with the power of the Internet or even your own local area network. Sticking a note on the desktop of your colleague, friend or relative has never been so simple. Using the internet service is free of charge.

Quite new are the possibilities to send a sms with iSticky like you were sending a note and to use 128 bit AES encryption of notes, wether you send them or store them.

iSticky enables you to categorize your notes. In this way, it is possible to show one category at a time. iSticky also has its own note archive in which you can store the notes that you might need later.

Also your iPod can be used with iSticky to store notes. With a few clicks, it is possible to synchronize your iPod notesfolder or just store some new notes in it. This is a beautiful option to exchange notes between several computers without using a network.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. I have used iSticky off and on since it was first introduced. I never have been able to get it to work as advertised and figured that, in order to successfully use it on all my family's Macs, I would need to purchase the Family license. Big mistake. It was a total waste of money. The instructions for setting iSticky are worse than useless and the support was just as bad. I contacted the developer several times and received very little useful information. Also, of you are going to market a product in the US, please offer something that approximates support in English. On the whole, their attitude was that my inability to get the program to work was my problem. I have wasted $60 on this application. I hope no one else has to do the same to find that this program is garbage.

Forwarded along all the crash logs to the developers. I think I am going to give up on trying this. Until I can try this out would not purchase it either.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. though the app has a pleasant work environment it is too much to ask people to buy without trying, especially as it is not quite debugged: -the 'search' sucks; the archive search is dumb and the 'find' which does not respond to control+f, quits the app! - the usp of the app, sms to phones, cannot be tried; a user should be allowed a few 'credits' to try out this feature most irritatingly, the nag screen to 'buy' hustles too much. $25 may be worth it if everything works as advertised

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. Great interface and features. I use it to communicate with my sister and with my project partner. It has helped me to organize my projects and things to do. iSticky has a lot of very nice features. One of my favorites is ability to associate a note to a file. When you select the file in your desktop, the note pops up, so you never forget what you had to do with that file. The developer is very kind and responsive. He helped me when iSticky wouldn't launch because of my custom keyboard layout. In a matter of hours, he corrected the bug and posted a new version.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. and a great guys to deal with. We are using iSticky on a LAN between 10 work stations and very happy with it. I made some suggestions to the guys at iSticky and they sent a newer version back overnight! Thorougly recommend the LAN use, but can't comment on the server issue. The reminder popups are a little annoyning, but we evaluated it, loved it and bought it.
