None, cannot get the program to work
Cons
Each time I try to get isofter DVD Deluxe to decode a DVD of VOB music videos, it will decode only one, then it gives me an error message and shuts down. Have tried all settings, different DVD's, same result. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, same thing. Even when I select only ONE music video to decode, it decodes that video, gives me an error message and shuts down. According to their website I am not using the latest version, but when I try to download the latest version it just downloads the same outdated version, every time. Each time I try to get onto their forum to maybe find some help, it tells me that it is full, try again later. They have no customer service phone number, so I had to use their support email, which I have done THREE times. NO REPLIES. I thought about filing a complaint with the BBB to maybe get their attention, but they are not a member. No surprise there.
Summary
If you have a problem with their programs, good luck. You are on your own.

Pros
Handles full video, or just sound track if you want. Handles common formats. Ideal to put your DVDs on to portable players for on journeys. Interface a bit scary the first time it opens but it grows on you.
Cons
You need to find your way around the GUI but it only takes a couple of minutes to work it out.
Summary
I started using an early version of this to rip songs and tunes from DVDs to put on my portable MP3 player. Now that I have a portable video player I have bought the full product (Platinum version) to avoid the 5 minutes limit and watermark on video. I have ripped a full length 2 hour film down to 1.46 GB. A couple of 8 GB cards should see me through a trans-atlantic flight. It is fairly simple to use and works just fine, doing what it says on the tin. I have had no problems with it. The Platinum version is $5 more than the De-Luxe version and handles a few more formats. I am very pleased with it and consider it good value for money. JG
