  Pros

  Tried many of the others and this one did what I needed. ISOMaker demo only has a 20MB limit on it and noone complains about that. This one has a 15x larger limit. Bottom line for me: I need to create some ISOs to install SharePoint on my VirtualPC. After trying 3 or 4 competitors, this is the only demo that actually got the job done for me.

  Cons

  Some aspects of the interface definitely feel non-standard, but nothing I can't deal with for a few minutes just to get the job done.

  Is plain useless. I purchase de software thinking that it will work to its capacity when you buy it, and the only thing it does is release the 300 limit. I contacted the seller for a refund and I was told and I quote <p>“"try and buy" principle. This means that any prospective customer can download and use this program for trial purposes without paying any fee and then make a decision whether to purchase the product or not. In other words, you are able to test the product before purchasing, and that is why we do not offer money back guarantee to our customers. All orders are final and we do not issue any refunds." <p> <p>How can if be try and buy, if is has limitations? <p> <p>Don't bother with this program

  Pros

  I only needed one directory from a DVD ISO I downloaded. With ISO Commander I was able to extract that one directory and it's files from the ISO without the need to burn to a DVD.

  Everything else... doesn't handle a lot of iso's right, bad support, and they are not making it better. It is especially useless when working with vcd's. Get Magic ISO or Ultra ISO; though they may be more expensive, they are a better investment.

  It could, under some obscure circumstances, come in handy.

  the Interface is klunky at best; If you want to put folders in an ISO you have to do them one at a time, there's no drag and drop. under no circumstances is this tool worth paying money for, and the Free version has a 300MB ISO size limit, which completely defeats the purpose of a separate program for making ISO's, unless you're less than half filling an ISO and not planning on actually burning it to CD. otherwise, the windows explorer implementation works better anyway. I downloaded this planning on making a DVD ISO, since XP doesn't do that itself, but with the file size limit, it doesn't exactly perform as advertized.
