Import and electronically file IRS Form 8955-SSA.

Beginning with returns for the 2009 plan year, the Schedule SSA (Form 5500) has been eliminated as a schedule of the Form 5500 annual return/report and is replaced with Form 8955-SSA. Plan administrators must file this new form with the IRS and not through the EFAST2 filing system. In general, Form 8955-SSA must be filed by the last day of the seventh month following the last day of that plan year (plus extensions). For plans on a calendar year, the 2011 Form 8955-SSA will be due July 31, 2012. For 2009 and 2010 plan years, the due date is the later of (1) the due date that generally applies for filing Form 8955-SSA for the 2010 plan year, and (2) August 1, 2011.
