Ringtones for your iPhone can be created from any unprotected song in your iTunes library. Protected songs (songs purchased from the iTunes music store) cannot be used to create ringtones. There is no limit to the number of ringtones you can create for your iPhone. You have complete freedom to create ringtones from any part of the song. Ringtones can be created from 1 to 39 seconds in length

a supremely useful program for a low low price!

I found iRingtunes X 2.2 to be totally awesome overall. It was so easy to use that I got everything right on the very first try...without ever reading any instructions, or ever having seen the actual program before.
Cons
none. I haven't found any flaws or defects.
Summary
If you want to make custom ringtones out of your Itunes library of songs, this is the program to use! I'm addicted to it already. Now all my main contacts will have their own unique, personalized ringtone so I can know who's calling me before I ever see the face of my iphone.
Limitation is ridiculous! 2 sec? Ad says 15 day trial.

None there are no pros. This is crap.

The ad says the limitation is a 15 day tiral, but the truth is, you can only have a 2 sec ringtone.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I just tried it on my Mac Pro. It loaded the list from iTunes OK. I found it difficult to select part of a song because you cannot hear anything until you select a section the try it. After I eventually found a section of about 16 seconds I clicked to save it to itunes and was then informed the maximum length in the trial version is two seconds! Two seconds is virtually useless even for a trial and it didn't save anything after three attempts anyway.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I almost didn't download this because of the previous reviews. But I have to say. The software started up and read my library just fine. Exported easy. I'm using a Mac Pro with over 200GB in iTunes. So, I suggest trying it out.
