A tool for managing and cataloging an inventory of goods, this program suffers from too many restrictions and not enough functionality. The interface is extremely basic, letting you add information for a code, item description, salesperson, vendor, location, markup percentage, and quantity. We encountered our biggest problem when trying to add stock to the database and discovered that that feature is disabled in the trial version. Each record is displayed as a database listing, and you click an item to get all the specifications. However, you cannot import images into the program, though you can search by keyword. We also failed to find an easy option for sorting entries and were disappointed we weren't given options for exporting the database to the Web or to e-mail any information. Certain business owners may be able to overcome Inventory Controller's multiple problems, but most people won't be so forgiving.
Demo Version doesn't show you how you can use the Program

Create your own database of inventory in stockrooms.Managing an internal stockroom or supply room is often a large and time-consuming problem. With this software, office products and consumables can be tracked; you can create your own database of inventory. The program was originally written for a school to keep track of stationery and books, but it can function in any kind of stockroom provided it is not used as point-of-sale software. The program allows you to store detailed information about the inventory description, vendor, location, and salesperson. It also allows you to set up a markup as a percentage of average cost (if needed) and will automatically calculate the price, total cost, markup amount, total markup, and total expected revenue.
