With this program you can control the times users of your PC can access the Internet, but it's relatively easy to circumvent this simple application's functionality. Internet Protector has a no-frills, straightforward interface that allows you to set a password for login, enable or disable Web access with one click, and enable or disable the auto timer. Using the auto timer mode, you can specify the days and hours you want to block Internet access or select from four preset time blocks. Unfortunately, savvy users can override this feature by manipulating the system clock, a fact mentioned in a program window. We appreciate the error-trapping feature that locks the program after a number of incorrectly entered passwords are entered. If you're looking for an ultrasimple Internet-control program to deter young users, Internet Protector will do the trick.

It sometimes block your internet even it is enabled!

When i disabled the internet, then enable it again it is still disabled...juz disable and enable it again and again until the internet works...

Summary
Internet access remained disabled even after logging on with password and overriding the disable setting. I had to unplug the modem, re-start, and plug the modem back in every time in order to disable the program. Troubleshooting solutions were of no help.

Summary
This is for the most part a great program but it can be easily by-passed. All you have to do is run "msconfig" and uncheck "IProtect" under the start-up tab and re-boot. Once it reboots, your on-line. Almost had it there. They should really find a way to take it out of the start-up list in "msconfig"
