InstaSize instantly resizes digital images so they can be posted without cropping on Instagram, but it does a lot more than that, like creating photo collages, applying filters, and adding layers, text, and borders. The latest release of Munkee's free app, InstaSize 2.3.1, runs in Android 2.2 and up.

Pros

Neat & clean: InstaSize's crisply rendered layout reflects Instagram's style and gives quick and easy access to features and settings.

Camera-ready: Taking pictures with your camera through InstaSize automatically resizes them, so they're ready to post with the fewest possible steps, or you can edit images further.

Quick resizing: We could pinch to resize images or use a slider and also move images to zoom in on regions.

Easy collage tool: InstaSize's Stitch tool let us stitch together up to five images in a variety of collage templates.

Layers: We could apply cool filter effects and add overlays and text to images with a few thumb swipes.

Option to switch to older version: The older version of InstaSize is still available via a copy-and-paste URL, so you can switch if your Android version has issues with InstaSize 2.3.1.

Cons

Banner ads: InstaSize is supported by banner ads and occasional sponsor offers. We've seen worse, but if you really hate ads, this could be a deal breaker.

Bottom Line

InstaSize 2.3.1 worked great in our Android 4.3 phone. Its synchronization between your camera and Instagram makes it much easier to use than many other Android graphics tools, especially when posting images on the go.
