  Pros

  The ability to reconfigure it is impressive. I used this when I tested a workstation on the raw internet without a router, and saw it block a lot. Like that when installed that can choose to block all traffic when not running, and it can run fine on Windows 2000 server and 2003

  Could cause a false sense of security if it is improperly configured.

  Pros

  It certainly seemed very tough and hardly let anything inside. I was searching for a firewall low on system resources and this was great in that field. Its perfect for professionals but it didnt work out so well for me...

  Cons

  After installation it blocked me from internet access, which i do not blame on the product itself but the lack of my knowledge about setting rules and stuff for firewalls. It is a very technical firewall and I wouldnt recommend it for home and inexperienced users. It doesnt show a icon in the system tray and that was very frustating for me. Overall, if u know how to use it, then this is the one for you...

  A very solid product, can be compared with hardware firewalls. But Astro Flow Guard firewall/VPN/IDS still on my top list !

  The support team is :( even if you are registered client. Make sure you evaluate it correctly.

  If your a skilled user this product is for you. It runs in the background. This will provide the best protection if your advanced.

  Cons

  I didnt know, what half the stuff it was asking me to allow or block was, and i use bearshare and edonkey2000 filesharing software, i didnt if i blocked certain things from happening how it affect my connection ability and speed to those networks.

  This application is very stable and very reliable. I've worked with computers for many years, and I know what works and what doesn't. This application can be run as a stand-alone, or with another firewall (e.g. Armor2Armor). I've read the opinions that complain about it not WORKING PROPERLY. The reason it's not working properly is because these people lack knowledge, and they likely have been using ZONE ALARM. WARNING: if you have installed Zone Alarm, you must format your drive before you can run Injoy Firewall, especially on WIN XP. Why? Because Zone Alarm installs a type of "gateway" on your system that won't allow Injoy Firewall's gateway to work properely. Keep in mind, this firewall "is better than Zone Alarm" if configured properly or if run with an outbound traffic monitoring firwall (it does not come preset to stop and check all outbound traffic). Moreover, you have to do more footwork than just installing a firewall (e.g. turning off "windows sharing". By doing this, you will secure your computer with governmental strength high security. No ther firewall, even kerio, can beat this firewall in "overall" features and protection.

  Sorry to say I tought I ran across some bad firewalls but I do admit this tops them all absolutely no configuration features what so ever, I wouldn't advise this to my worst enemy, unlike Prevx or zonealarm which I know works. Also when I was about to install this thing it kept poping up that the files being install didn't conform to XPs standards plus when the installation was compete my security center for xp kept poping up claming no filewall was installed, so make your own decisions on that.

  This little app took me by complete surprise. I've tried most of the other firewalls out there, including Sygate, Outpost, Zonealarm, and have to say this is my preferred choice for protecting my system. Small footprint, easy to configure/maintain, and the taskbar monitor feature is SUPERB. Download and install this now, and say goodbye to any would-be intruders.

  I've been through years of trying firewalls, including zone alarm and black ice. But this firewall makeS those firewalls look small, the way Gumby would look if he stood next to the incredibe Hulk. One Warning, if you don't know firewall lingo or net tech jargon, you better hit the books, because this application's company does not hold your hand and walk with you through this one. You are on you own, with only a few scantly composed pdf help manuals to provide you an idea of what this application provides. This is the only drawback of this application. Otherwise, it truly beats the rest, without any doubt.

  My first impression was that InJoy was a very unique firewall. It lacks outbound application protection and the graphical user interface is very buggy. The development team is absolutely NOT open to suggestions at all. The predefined security levels are great, but the way they are setup limits the firewalls configuration. It has a great overall setup and uses very little system resources. I would highly recommend this if it werent for the horrible support and buggy GUI.
