Used Infix PDF Editor for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Infix PDF Editor is a premium PDF suite that edits PDFs, including "old school" PDFs, much like a word processor. It's a full-featured app that competes directly with other top-flight PDF solutions. It includes pro features, such as OCR and watermarking, and a classic look means no unpleasant surprises; the layout and tools will be familiar to most users from the start. Infix PDF Editor is free to try, with a watermark on output.
Pros
Optional printer driver: We could opt to install the complimentary Infix PDF Printer utility during setup.
Various user modes: Choosing the right mode for your needs reduces complexity, making both it and you more efficient.
Word processor layout: Infix's user interface is instantly recognizable as a full-featured document editor. The software edits PDFs like a word processor, with grids, spell checker, objects, and formatting.
Tools and extras: Infix supports OCR, watermarking, user restrictions, and capabilities, such as placing PDFs inside existing pages. Infix also includes Text Connect, Hyperlink, Pipette, and Drawing tools.
Cons
Pricey: Infix PDF Editor isn't overpriced compared to similar premium PDF suites, but some extremely capable freeware can give it a run, and for no money. Shop around and try before you buy.
Bottom Line
Infix PDF Editor holds its own over other premium PDF suites. Many users may find that free PDF utilities do the things they need with less fuss, but for an all-in-one PDF solution, it's worth a look.
Editors' note: This is a review of the trial version of Infix PDF Editor 6.3.5.0.
