Inbound Logistics Planner contains in-depth profiles of 180 leading supply chain industry companiesdetailing their mission, focus, services, and capabilities. The new and expanded iPad version of our annual Logistics Planner includes a built-in web browser, so you can tap any company's web link or logo and go directly to their site for more information without ever leaving the Planner app. Each profile also includes an e-mail link so you can send mail directly to a company using the iPad's native Mail app. The app's built-in browser also provides access to Inbound Logistics exclusive online RFP service (just tap Logistics Planner 2013 header graphic on any profile page) through which you can detail your specific challenges and needs, specify services you're interested in, and request information from multiple companies at once. The iPad Planner allows readers fast access to profiles by tapping for a drop-down, scrollable table of contents, swiping through thumbnails of profile pages in an overview mode, or dragging a playhead at the bottom of the screen. Profiles pages are designed in both vertical and horizontal orientations and adapt to whichever way you turn the iPad. Because the iPad Planner is a completely electronic publication, it offers enhanced features such as embedded videos and slideshows. Slideshows run automatically, and videos play at the users discretion with a simple tap. Once playing, additional controls allow videos to play full-screen, either vertically or horizontally.
