Large image viewer
Image Browser goal is to allow people without huge amount of RAM to view and navigate though huge pictures (several time your screen's size) by first cutting them up in smaller pictures at different zoom level and reassembling them on the fly. Although it will work with any picture, already-cut versions of the NASA's Blue Marble pictures (8k*4k pixels) are available on the site (separate download)
