  If your folder has less than 40 songs, it works great

  Cons

  It could at least attempt to read the filename into the ID3 if the ID3 Title and Artist fields are blank.

  Summary

  It does live up to my expectation of "Lite" program versions. 'Nuff sed.

  SImple, no install procedure, only 900kB long, multiple selection for tags (based on 1st entry)

  Cons

  No ability to copy file name to empty fields (all has to be manually retyped). Multiple selection does not reset upon folder change.

  Pros

  It only took a few minutes to get the hang of this, but now I'm able to correct or add tags to a whole album of mp3s in one trip, which is what I need. It's great that it's freeware, too. 5 stars for a free and basic program that does what I need.

• Everything I wanted in an ID3 Tag Editor

  Pros

  Downloaded TagScanner,TagEditor,Simple ID3 Editor, and this one blew them away. Has an interface to select from local drive window built in on top to allow easy movement between folders. Can copy Artist name/Album name/Genre/Year across the entire selection on one click. Only real input into this is the actual track name. Otherwise brilliant!

• It's a lite mp3 editor... seriously

  Pros

  Small, no installation required. <p>Clean interface. <p>Easy to learn and use.

  Cons

  Very basic , good for quick and dirty jobs but not to take care of your entire MP3 collection. <p>Slow on saving and there is no progress indicator, program just freezes until job is done.
