Does Exactly What It Says It Will

Pros
This solves the roaming icon problem, no matter why your icons move around.
Cons
None that I know of.
Summary
I see a nonsensical bad review because of what is best about this program. It has a simple function, which it does perfectly. It has NO BLOAT at all. It does precisely what is says it will do, neither more nor less. That is a plus in a world with Nortons and McAfees that advertise a simple function but with a hundred check marks on the feature page listing 99 functions you don't need slowing down your system.
I once deleted the icons from the desktop (yea, you can do that) but I found that I always forgot to save positions when I moved icons or installed new programs. Consequently, I would end up restoring my icons to their positions from 3 months ago. Not very helpful. With them on the desktop, I never forget. If you are not the type to forget things, just delete them. It's simpler to do that than to whine about them like some others...
Good program for the price: FREE

Pros
The program does work. Click on the IconSort icon on your desktop to run the program. Then cliick on the Quick Save icon to save the desktop icon layout. You can delete the 3 desktop icons and use the IconSort icon placed in your system tray.
Cons
It'd be nice if the program was like Icon Restore 1.0 with a right click menu integration with the recycle bin. Also, the program takes up 6.5 MB of memory. Icon Restore is a click and forget program that doesn't reside in memory after use.
Summary
Despite the small con issues mentioned, it's a good program.
Plain and simple TRASH

Pros
The best thing I liked was I could uninstall it.
Cons
Puts 3 icons on the desk top and wouldn't be so bad if at least 1 worked.
