  Pros

  Very easy to use. Simple layout.

  Cons

  5 minute trial version is misleading and untrue. Decreases size/quality of video & audio that it is converting from .mov to .mov file...not a true 1:1 conversion as advertised & asked for in the option I selected.

  Summary

  The biggest issues I had were in the cons as I didn't have time to play around with anything else. I literally had a 3:33 .mov video that my computer wouldn't open because of Maverick/QuickTime issues and I needed something to convert it to a .mov that would open. This software assured it could do the job & there would be a 5 minute trial. It only gave me 1:40. It finished pretty quickly & said it was successful. The video was of course cut off & not as high quality & I could barely hear the audio. This is not what I would call a success. I will not be paying for the full version.

  Their software claims that they can convert ARF (Webex recordings) to mp4., where as webex themselves says that you cant convert on Mac. http://www.idealshare.net/video-converter/arf-to-mp4-converter-mac-windows.html Webex Tech Support says: I am writing you regarding your web request. Unfortunately, you cannot convert .ARF files to other formats on MAC. The only option would be to use a Windows running computer. The conversion of a WebEx recording to Windows Media Format or Flash-format (ARF only) requires a Windows-based application. WebEx recordings can be played back on a Mac, but they cannot be converted on a Mac. So Idealshare is selling s/w that will not work on MAC for conversions but they are claiming incorrectly and selling their videogo converter. When asked for refund they dont respond at all, so my $50 is gone

  this trial is limited to a 5 minute conversion after that they want to charge you a yearly charge at 30 bucks or a once time charge at 50!

• A new brand for video converter app, but worthy to use!

  Pros

  Support more video and audio formats I try many video converters, but few support converting video WTV, DVR, OGV, WebM, ProRes, R3D or audio QCP, VOC, SHN, 3GA, MPC Luckily, besides converting the popular video and audio formats, iDealshare VideoGo also can convert all of the above mentioned formats.
