i-NeuroDEI is an iPAD application simulator which is able to reproduce membrane potential changes in neurons. This app is a low cost resource that aids the undergraduate students understanding of neurophysiology concepts and creates just enough curiosity to encourage the student to do some kinds of experiments for their own research. The free version allows the students to stimulate a single neuron with customized pulses: square, saw tooth or continuous. Changes to membrane potential values are shown in real time and the modifications produced by different physiological conditions, i.e. sodium and/or potassium extra and intracellular concentration.
