  Summary

  Note that this is not a color picker in the sense that you can grab any color from your screen to get its hex and/or rgb codes, etc- and it does not claim to be so- but I just wanted to clarify that anyway, as I myself didn't pay much attention to the description. Lacking the ability to grab colors from your screen, HTML Starter-Kit-Color-Picker instead provides just a color map/slider from which to select your color(s). As a graphic designer, I had little use for it, as there are tons of freeware color pickers, many a little more robust. It does, however, give you the codes of the colors selected through the map/sliders. One unique feature was an attached browser- but i couldn't get it to function properly (although i have to mention that i only gave it minimal effort, as i already knew i'd be uninstalling it). I don't want to put it down completely- it does what it claims it will do (aside from the browser, but i don't think that was even mentioned in the description though anyway)- it gives code for colors selected with their provided color picker (again, however, NOT from your screen)- and it also saves a history of most recently picked colors & does allow you to save palettes.

  Pros

  This is NOT one of those useless "pick a colour off your screen" tools. It provides a full 24-bit pallette from which you can choose your colours.

  Cons

  I picked a colour from the pallette. Then I fine tuned the choice in the RGB options. But the cut & paste options below did NOT change to reflect this fine tuning. So the HEX values (for example, as most HTML and CSS coders might use) would not accurately reflect the specific choice.
