- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br /><p>As is usual with drivers/software for the Mac from HP, this driver is absolutely terrible. It works intermittently, constantly loses track of the printer, and is an unnecessarily huge download (I mean, c'mon, 100Mb for a <i>printer</i>?) - the only reason I use it is because I didn't really have an alternative until I discovered that VueScan supports the HP scanner built into the printer just fine.</p> <p>So, I would recomment skipping this download entirely, using the Mac OS X built-in drivers for printing, downloading VueScan for scanning, and the other function of the printer is basically its card-reader (which is natively supported by OS X anyway).</p>
